Tweeddale Neighbourhood Support Fund
The Tweeddale Neighbourhood Support Fund for 2023/24 is now open with approximately £51k available for local community projects. The fund provides support and assistance with the development of community-based projects for voluntary and community groups that are active in their local area.
Groups who would like to take forward projects that will be of benefit to the local community can apply for grants up to the value of £5k or up to £7.5k under certain circumstances. Funding can be used for a variety of purposes such as:
- the purchase of equipment
- salary costs
- small capital works
- hire and running costs
- maintenance costs
- capacity building projects
Applications will be evaluated by an assessment panel which will make its recommendations to the Tweeddale Area Partnership at meetings throughout the 2023/24 financial year. The next Tweeddale Area Partnership is on Tuesday, 13 June 2023 and the deadline for applications to be heard at that meeting is Tuesday, 16 May 2023 at 12 noon. Future meeting dates will be confirmed soon.
There is one application form for all organisations, located at the bottom of this page. Please read the guidance notes for information on who is eligible to apply and ensure that you have all supporting documents ready to submit before you begin the application process.
