Road signs

Other hazard warning signs

Triangular hazard warning signs may be provided depending on the issue and location. Potential hazards include:

  • dangerous bends
  • junctions
  • absence of footways
  • wild animals (such as deer)

Each sign has different criteria that must be met before it’s considered appropriate to erect.

You can find more information about road markings and signs on the Department for Transport's website
