Report an issue with temporary traffic lights.
Issues we don't manage
We don't deal with issues on:
- trunk roads (A7 south of Galashiels, A68, A1, A702, A6091)
- private roads
- areas maintained by housing associations or similar
- roads that aren't adopted
Report trunk road issues to BEAR Scotland.
Dangerous lighting issues
Don't report online if the issue is an immediate risk to health and safety. These include:
- exposed wiring or cables
- traffic lights not working
- damaged or leaning lamp posts, traffic light or road sign
- damaged, hanging or loose lantern cover
Instead, check our opening times and call the most appropriate number, either the Customer Advice and Support Service or the emergency out of hours from our Contact Us page.
