Eddleston Primary School
In accordance with The Schools Consultation ( Scotland) Act 2010 ( As Amended) we voted on 25 September 2025, to proceed to a Statutory Consultation on permanent closure of Eddleston Primary School (currently mothballed) and rezoning of its catchment area.
As part of that Statutory Consultation process, a formal proposal paper will be brought back to Council on 4 December 2025 for approval, and the dates for the Statutory Consultation are anticipated to be 8 December 2025 until 13 February 2026 inclusive.
Further details of the Statutory Consultation will be released in due course including details of The Public Meeting which will take place during the consultation period.
