There are a number of places to go to get information on road safety, while there are also free courses available to improve your driving skills:
- Drivewise Borders - offers free courses for 14-17 year olds, 17-25 year olds and older people to learn about road safety and improve your driving skills

Report a road safety concern
Certain major roads in the Scottish Borders known as trunk roads are not our responsibility. Road safety concerns regarding trunk roads should be reported to Transport Scotland's operating company BEAR Scotland.
Please report all other road safety concerns on Scottish Borders roads to our road safety team.
