Technology enabled care

GPS and digital care

GPS watch

A GPS watch is used as a standalone piece of technology. It can provide family and friends with the client’s location, heart rate, body temperature and pedometer data. These can be accessed via a mobile app.

The watch is fully waterproof. It has a working battery life of up to 48 hours. Low battery notifications are sent to both the user and the app users.

A preloaded SIM card is included and access is given to an app.

GPS pendant

Pendant alarms are easy to use for those who require help when feeling unwell or after a fall. When in need of help a simple press of a single button will send an alert to the nominated contacts.

Once the pendant is activated, it will contact the chosen family member or a friend. This is especially useful when you are unable to reach a phone. The pendant uses GPS technology that can send location updates.

Please note, if you are using any tracking device, consent must be given. Even with Power of Attorney, you must ensure that any decision in using tracking devices is in the best interest of the client.
