Local Area Co-ordination

Our Local Area Co-ordination (LAC) team is for people aged 16 and over who might:

  • feel isolated or disconnected from their community
  • want support with a specific challenge or life change
  • need help navigating resources and local services

We will:

  • take time to listen to you
  • strengthen your voice and increase your choices
  • support you to be in control
  • connect you to your community
  • build a good life

Our commitment is to:

  • work flexibly with you
  • encourage you to identify your strengths, look at your goals and think about what you would like to do
  • support you to explore your choices and hopes for the future
  • work alongside you to increase your social connections in your community
  • enable you to build your vision of a good life and increase your wellbeing

How do I find out more?

You don’t need a referral to be introduced to us. Anyone can make an introduction to a Local Area Co-ordinator.
