Community Link Workers
Community Link Workers support individuals aged 16 and over who may be experiencing exclusion, inequality, or isolation. This includes the following:
- people with learning disabilities
- people with physical disabilities
- neurodivergent individuals
- people facing mental health challenges
- older adults
Please note that a formal diagnosis is not required.
What do Community Link Workers do?
Community Link Workers help individuals build the skills and confidence needed to access and participate in their local community.
How we work with you
We can support you to:
- find out about and take part in local groups, activities and opportunities in your community
- build your confidence to access community buildings, resources, and services.
- plan how you will get to local groups, activities and opportunities in your community using public transport or explore alternatives such as taxis, community transport, or walking routes.
