Pay a parking charge notice
To pay a parking charge notice issued by us for parking in a pay and display car park you will need the 8 digit number following the letters SB from the parking ticket, you can pay:
- online with your debit or credit card
- over the phone by calling 08450 758517 - this call will cost 3p per minute plus your phone company's access charge
- in person at one of our contact centres
- by post to the address given on the ticket (do not send cash in the post).
How much do I have to pay?
The charge is £20 for parking in Hawick, Galashiels and Melrose, and £40 for parking in Peebles.
If you pay within 10 days of the ticket being issued, the charge is reduced to £10 in Hawick, Galashiels and Melrose and £20 in Peebles.
Payments should be made within 21 days of the ticket being issued.
