Climate emergency
In August 2019, we committed to implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and in September 2020 declared a Climate Emergency. This commitment and declaration frame the climate challenge we face.
Our climate change route map provides a pathway to climate change resilience and Net Zero Green House Gas emissions for the Scottish Borders, over a 25 year time timeframe.
