Our Easter Holiday opportunities are back. With something for everybody across the two weeks of the Easter holidays, we have sport, art, crafts and physical activity in an action-packed programme of fun

Final date for bookings

The final date for any booking will be 10th April due to an upgrade to our online payment systems.

Activity Camps

What your child will experience on the day: A comprehensive multi-sport opportunity including, arts and crafts, athletics (Mini Commonwealth Games), basketball, dodgeball, football, playground games, team building activities and tennis. Please note our opportunities are planned and delivered with the young person at the centre of what we do and we may alter and amend our delivery plan to suit our attendees on the day.

Delivery team: Our holiday activity camps will be managed by our Active Schools Coordinator for their respective clusters and our opportunities will be led by a team of up to three Play, Sport and Activity Leaders. Our delivery teams are qualified and/or competent in a range of multi-sport opportunities and can’t wait to get our young people active this Easter

Star Track Athletics

With running, jumping and throwing activities, young athletes will learn how to participate in different athletics events in a fun way, preparing them for club athletics and beyond.

Cycle Speedway

Develop your cycling skills, build confidence, and learn racing techniques in a camp focused on the fast and exciting sport of Cycle Speedway. Delivered by British Cycling–qualified coaches from the Scottish Borders Council Sports Development Team, in collaboration with The Border Raiders Cycle Speedway Club at Tweedbank. Bikes are supplied and helmets are available, however, if you have your own helmet then please bring it along

Inclusive Sports Fun

This Easter, join us for Inclusive Sports Fun at Tweedbank Leisure Centre!
In a safe, enclosed environment, all participants will have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun and accessible activities, including:

  • Trikes
  • Archery
  • Cricket
  • Football

Designed to be inclusive and welcoming, this session ensures everyone can get involved, have fun, and enjoy being active.

Please note the following:

  • if you have multiple children wishing to attend a submission is required for each child. You can use this form to book a space for up to 3 children.
  • all participants are required to bring a water bottle and snacks
  • participants must be dropped and collected by a responsible adult named on the form (A responsible adult must stay for duration of the Inclusive Sports Fun Sessions).
  • please bring suitable clothing for outdoor actvitiy (waterproof/jacket/tracksuit bottoms)
  • a new submission will be required for each camp you wish to book a place on
