Letting Agent registration
All letting agents operating in Scotland must comply with the Letting Agent Code of Practice. The statutory Letting Agent Code of Practice sets out the standards that letting agents must meet in managing their business and providing services to tenants and landlords.
All letting agents in Scotland must have applied to register with Scottish Ministers before 1 October 2018.
Agents can make an application on the Scottish Government website.
