Housing needs analysis for Gypsy/Travellers
As part of our consultation for the Local Housing Strategy, covering the period 2023-28, we have been looking to understand the housing needs of the Gypsy/Traveller community across the region.
Working with Altair Advisory and Consultancy a survey was undertaken aimed at Gypsy/Travellers who either live or spend time in the Scottish Borders, in any type of accommodation.
A report was presented to Council on 15 December providing an update on the Gypsy/Traveller needs analysis and consultation activity undertaken and proposed next steps. See our website for more information and to access a copy of the report.
