Batteries Recycle batteries in any shop that sells them or take to a Community Recycling Centre
Bubble Wrap Recycle in your kerbside recycling bin
Cans Put empty food and drinks cans in your kerbside recycling bin
Cardboard Recycle in your kerbside recycling bin. Large cardboard can be flattened and folded and placed next to the recycling bin. Or take to a Community Recycling Centre
Christmas Cards All cards can be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin, even those with glitter
Christmas Crackers Recycle used crackers in your kerbside recycling bin
Christmas Decorations If in good condition, consider donating to a local charity shop. Broken decorations should be placed in your general waste bin
Christmas Trees Take real trees to a Community Recycling Centre
Christmas Wreaths
If you are able to dismantle the wreath, the plastic part can be placed in your recycling bin, and the foliage can be recycled at a Community Recycling Centre. 
If you are unable to dismantle the wreath they can be placed in your general waste bin
Cooking fat/Grease (solid) Place solid fat in your food waste bin if you live in a food waste area. Otherwise place this into your general waste bin
Fairy Lights Christmas tree lights can be recycled at a Community Recycling Centre
Food Waste If you live in an area with a food waste collection service place any food scraps in the food waste caddy. Otherwise place in your general waste bin
Foil
Clean foil can be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin.  Scrunch it together into a big ball
Glass Glass bottles and jars can be taken to local bottle banks
Packing Tape Place used packing tape in your kerbside general waste bin
Plastic Packaging Clean and empty plastic bottles, trays, pots and tubs can be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin
Selection box packaging  Outer plastic wrapper and inner cardboard or plastic tray (except black) can be placed in your recycling bin
Sellotape Place used Sellotape in your kerbside general waste bin
Sweet Wrappers Foil sweet wrappers can be placed in your recycling bin. Plastic sweet wrappers should be placed in your general waste bin
Tins of sweets/biscuits Empty plastic and metal sweet/biscuit tins can be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin
Tissue Paper Place in your recycling bin
Wrapping Paper Recycle in your kerbside recycling bin. No need to remove Sellotape

Top tips:

Extra recycling can be bagged (not black bags) and placed beside the recycling bin.

Large cardboard can be flattened and folded and placed beside the recycling bin.
