Grant funding for community projects

Expressions of Interest (EOI)

We currently have two active funds open to support projects.

Community Led Local Development Fund

Grants of up to £25,000 are available via the Community Led Local Development (CLLD) funds and are open to Small/Micro Businesses, Private Sector, Enterprise Organisations, Third Sector and Community and Voluntary organisations.

For other proposals, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) if you have a project you are seeking funding for, so it can be considered for our future funding pipeline.

Please note:

To submit an EOI, your project must be fully developed, with:

  • a completed project idea
  • an established budget
  • All appropriate permissions in place, or an appropriate plan and timeline to approach them; this includes landowner permissions or leases.

If you have any questions or comments regarding EOI process, you can get in touch by emailing eoi@scotborders.gov.uk.

Local Place Plan Support

Communities in the Scottish Borders can now access up to £40,000 in funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund 2025-26 to support their development of Local Place Plans. For more information see our Funding available for Local Place Plans page. Expressions will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
