Where all hours are taken term time up to 50 weeks at the same setting through the year
Split placement application
Parents have the opportunity to take funded hours at more than one funded provider. This is known as a split placement.
Parents only need to complete ONE application form, and will be asked in the application form to state the names of both settings and the days / hours they want to take in each
If a split placement is with a setting outwith our area, parents will be asked to state whilch Local Authority and setting they plan to use and contact will be made with that setting to confirm the number of hours.
Holiday Placement
The opportunity for the child to take funded hours at one setting during term time, and funding at another setting over the holidays.
Parents only need to complete ONE application form, and will be asked to state the names of both settings and the days / hours they want to take in each.
For example: A parent wants to use the 1140 hours over 46 weeks, that would equate to a reduced weekly entitlement of 25 hours per week.
In our Hub settings, some places may be available for non funded hours, however priority for places is given to funded hours
Parents who want to take funded hours over the summer holiday period at a 50 week provision, must apply no later than 31 May for these hours. The 50 week provision should contact the main provider to establish if there will be any funded hours remaining in advance of the placement beginning.
