Council Tax
If you have a discount on your Council Tax account, this won’t be affected if your guest lives with you in your home.
If you have provided them with a self-contained property for their sole use, the property will be exempt from Council Tax.
You should tell us about guests who have moved into your home using our online form.
Housing
If your current accommodation is no longer suitable, there are a few options for you:

People who arrive in the UK through the Ukraine Family Visa scheme will be able to access all benefits, including housing benefit, where there are housing costs.
