Lipreading classes

Free classes are run by qualified lipreading tutors, many of whom also have a hearing loss. These sessions can help people to communicate:

  • at home
  • at work
  • in social situations

Information about equipment and services is also available, along with the opportunity for people with different levels of hearing loss to meet and share experiences.

Lipreading classes are held:

  • Mondays: 10:00am-12:00noon, Kelso
  • Tuesdays: 10:00am-12:00noon, Chirnside and Jedburgh
  • Tuesdays: 10:30am-12:30pm, Earlston
  • Thursdays: 10:00am-12:00noon, Hawick and Peebles
  • Thursdays: 10:30am-12:30pm, Eyemouth
