Employability Training
No One Left Behind Stage 2 - Pre Employment Training
The Stage 2 pre-employment training provides individuals with employability training through a blended learning approach of face to face sessions and virtual training.
The training runs for approximately 10 weeks for a minimum of two days per week.
Individuals have the opportunity to obtain accredited qualifications in employability, personal development, core skills and / or customer care.
A short work taster placement may also be offered during the training where appropriate.
No One Left Behind Stage 3 - Work Experience
The Stage 3 work experience provides individuals the opportunity to gain eight weeks experience in a real working environment.
Work experience placements are 24-30 hours per week. During this time, individuals have the opportunity to gain employability based qualifications along with valuable work based skills.
Stage 3 is delivered throughout the Scottish Borders.
Eligibility
- Not in education, training or employment
- Living in the Scottish Borders
- Motivated and committed
- Willing to participate in work experience
Qualifications offered at SCQF Level 3 or 4

Stage 3:
- Practical workplace skills
Individuals aged 16-18 may be entitled to a weekly training allowance and individuals may be entitled to help with travel expenses.
