Employability Service

Specialist supported employment

Support to find and sustain paid employment is available to people of working age, with additional employment barriers. We can support with job-searching, assisting with the application process and interview skills.

Furthermore, the service offers in-work support and, in accordance with the equalities act, can assist employers in ensuring appropriate reasonable adjustments are in place where required.

“The support has made a huge difference, it was a weight off my shoulders having the support I needed to work and apply to college. It has really given me a confidence boost. I would 100% recommend the service. I like that I can continue to work with my Employment Support Worker to find a new job whilst also still going to college.

Ukrainian community support

We have dedicated support available for the Ukrainian Community. A Ukrainian speaking Support Worker is available to help find, gain and sustain employment.

“The Ukrainian Support Worker gave me the confidence to apply my existing skills into the current job market. I am always pleased to meet with the worker as she is supportive and enthusiastic. I will definitely recommend this service! My next goal is to set up a small business where I can contribute to the local community".
