Registration service fees

All stated fees include the fees set by the Registrar General for Scotland and by ourselves and include one copy of your marriage or civil partnership certificate.

Religious marriage fees

Religious or/and any belief denomination marriage: £100

This fee consists of the processing of two sets of marriage notices and a copy of your marriage certificate. It does not include any costs due to the individual conducting the ceremony.

Civil marriage/partnership fees

A non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required for civil marriage, civil partnership and celebration ceremonies such as vow renewals and baby naming’s. This is included in the pricing shown below.

Please note there may be an additional charge for the hire of some ceremony rooms other than the Registration Office in Scottish Borders Council buildings.
