Grant Funding for Community Projects

Expressions of Interest (EOI)

The EOI process is open to projects which fall into one of the following specific categories.

  1. Community Led Local Development Fund (CLLD) 2025-26  
  • The Supporting Innovation Fund is for applicants looking to transform their organisation and needing funding to carry out feasibility studies on their plans.  
  • The Capital Development Fund offers funding for improvements and new developments to business or community premises,  
  • Grants of £1500-£25,000 available but all applicants must offer some cash match funding (not in-kind) 
  • Projects must contribute to one of the four priority themes of Net-Zero/Climate Crisis; Social Inclusion/ Improving Services for the Public; Growing the Economy or Poverty Alleviation (especially for Children).  
  • All grants are open to Small/Micro Businesses, Private Sector/Enterprise Organisations or Third Sector/Community and Voluntary organisations. 
  1. Active Travel SEStran and Transport Scotland Project Fund 
  • This is a flexible fund with capital and revenue funding available. 
  • Grants are available to support active travel and behaviour change projects with a minimum grant of £1,000 and a maximum grant of £20,000 subject to detailed criteria.

  1. No One Left Behind  
  • Social Enterprises, Charities, Community Interest Companies, Constituted Community / Voluntary Group 
  • Projects must contribute to maximising the role that employability plays in delivering national and local aims of tackling poverty, promoting inclusion and social justice, and creating a fair and prosperous Scotland. 
  • Funding is available to projects which meet the following aims. 
  • Supporting those further from the labour market to increase their income from employment, by providing relevant employability support through training for employment. 
  • Reducing levels of child poverty by supporting parents from the priority family groups to increase their income from employment, by providing relevant employability support related to training for employment. 
  • Reducing levels of long-term unemployment by providing employability support to those who are at risk of being long-term unemployed. 
  1. Project Pipeline 
  • If you are a large capital project that would like to be added to a major project pipeline in the event that funding becomes available, you may also submit an EOI 
  • Please Note: You must have completed project idea with an established budget and all appropriate permissions in place.
