Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) contains policies to complement the Development Plan policies contained within the Consolidated Local Plan.
Supplementary planning guidance (SPG) have been produced which contains policies to complement the Development Plan policies contained within the Consolidated Local Plan.
Supplementary Planning Guidance gives further guidance on specific policy topic areas such as:
- affordable housing
- green space
- renewable energy
- placemaking and design.
A planning brief is an outline of the vision for the planning of the area, indicating the broad principles which should be followed in its development.
It is written to give clear guidance to potential developers and includes issues such as linkages to surrounding areas, types of uses, density of development, and provision of open space and landscaping.
