Care Village Programme

All residents can expect:

• To have full and independent lives, enabling them to achieve their own potential
• To receive the level of care and support needed in their own home
• To be able to explore their environment safely, surrounded by the facilities and support of their local neighborhood 
• To be able to entertain and host visitors either within their own home or in the on-site facilities 
• To be able to have hobbies, join clubs, celebrate events and engage in events and activities within and out-with the care village
• To have a ‘home for life’ within the care village 

Carers, residents and friends can expect:

• To be able to visit whenever they choose 
• To be able to share family life with their loved ones 
• To be able to join in activities 
• To have a say in the running of the village 
• To have volunteering opportunities should they wish to be involved in the care village 
• To have a range on intergenerational activities available within the care village

Staff and management can expect:

• To be part of a holistic service, working together for the benefit of everyone
• To be supported and valued 
• To have opportunities to develop their skills 
• To have access to relevant training, qualifications and career opportunities
• To be part of the local community 

The local community can expect:

• To be welcomed into the care village 
• The ethos, ethics and purpose of the village to be shared with them and to be supported in engaging with the care village
• To have a say in the running of the village 
• To have residents of the care village participating in life within the local community 
• There to be investment in the community wherever possible
