Scottish Borders venues are being urged to showcase what the region has to offer at the Doors Open Days Festival 2026, taking place over 5-6 September.
The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine’ and venues, companies, building managers and local groups across the region are invited to get involved by hosting an event.

This year’s theme explores the need to protect, celebrate, and adapt our shared heritage in an era of environmental, social, and economic change.
The annual event, which is organised by the Scottish Civic Trust, is Scotland’s largest festival that provides access to some of the most interesting and historically significant buildings in the area whilst celebrating places and stories.
All events are free and take place in person and online.
