The Health and Social Care Partnership is inviting residents to share their views on the future of day support opportunities for older people in the Tweeddale, Cheviot and Berwickshire localities.
This consultation aims to gather feedback from individuals, communities and key stakeholders to better understand current needs and help shape service provision across the three areas.
It also reflects the Partnership’s commitment to community-led approaches and collaborative working, ensuring services are co-designed to meet local priorities and deliver meaningful support.

Councillor Tom Weatherston, Executive Member for Social Work and Community Enhancement
“We want to hear from everyone with an interest in day opportunities for older people in these three localities—whether you’re a service user, carer, professional or community partner.
“Your feedback will help us understand what works well, where improvements are needed, and how we can shape services that promote wellbeing, independence and social connection.
“We’re particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience and their carers about what support would make the greatest difference to them. Their input is vital, as the more perspectives we gather, the better equipped we’ll be to meet the needs of older people as effectively as possible.”
