Communities in the Scottish Borders can now access up to £40k in funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund 2025/2026 to support their development of Local Place Plans.
Local Place Plans are community-led plans which present proposals for the development and use of local land or buildings, providing residents with a platform for their ideas, aspirations and visions for the places they live, work and spend time in.
The funding from the UK Prosperity Fund will enable communities to access consultancy support through the Place Making Support Framework which is available on our website. This will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To apply to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, applicants should complete a Place Plan Funding Application Form and the accompanying Budget Form. These forms can be requested from and completed documents should be returned to eoi@scotborders.gov.uk
More information can be found by visiting Local Place Plans, on the Council's website.
