Councillor Tom Weatherston, Executive Member for Social Work and Community Enhancement

“We’re delighted to be able to offer residents in the Central Borders greater access to our What Matters Hubs through provision of these additional venues.

“They’re an ideal way of talking to professionals in a relaxed, informal way and provide guidance on a range of issues and topics ranging from health and social care services to information about community activities and events that people may find of interest.

“I would encourage anyone who is looking for advice to drop in to their nearest venue to see what may be available to help them.”
