Prospective candidates for the Local Government Election are reminded that the nomination deadline is just a week away
Candidates must submit their nomination papers by 4pm on Wednesday 30 March, with an appointment required in advance for these to be checked and received.
Nomination packs can be downloaded on our website or alternatively can be posted out by contacting elections@scotborders.gov.uk or calling 01835 825004.
Candidates will stand for 11 multi-member wards across the Scottish Borders. Polling day is Thursday 5 May, with any resident of Scotland aged 16 and over eligible to vote
