The First Minister has confirmed the further easing of lockdown restrictions that will come in to effect at the beginning of next week.
From Monday 26 April all of Scotland will be at Level 3 of the COVID-19 protection system.
This mean that the hospitality sector and ‘non-essential’ retail outlets can open again.
In addition, non-essential travel between Scotland and the other three home nations will be permitted.
Outside, meeting with up to six people from six different households is allowed. However when meeting in an indoor hospitality setting that number is limited to six people from just two households.

“Further easing of restrictions is really positive news, and has been made possible by people continuing to follow the rules which helps keep the rate of infection down and incidence of the virus low.
"To help us keep on the right path, please remain patient. Stick with the rules and continue protecting each other and our local health and social care services. Following the FACTS advice is really important, even if you have received one or both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.”

• Face coverings in enclosed spaces
• Avoid crowded places
• Clean hands and surfaces regularly
• Two metre distancing; and
• Self-isolate and book a test if you have symptoms
