How to pay fees
When submitting building warrant applications, fees are charged in accordance with the current fee table. The value of work within your submission should be in accordance with our guide for estimated value of building work (based on the Building Cost Information Service review of building prices.)
Payment of fees
The method of payment of fees for electronic applications is arranged through the Scottish Government portal.
For non-electronic applications fees may be paid by:
- phone 01835 826844 or 01835 825035 for Building Stanadards registration, payments via debit/credit card or a payment link can be provided.
- we still take payments by cheque, cash or other methods but will no longer be issuing paper fee receipts for cheque.
- fee receipts will only be issued for cash payments.
Your acknowledgement letter will contain details of the transaction and it is the official receipt of fee payment.
