SQA Employability National Level 4
Are you a parent who is interested in developing skills for moving into employment?
Our Parental Employability Service (PES) is delivering courses in your local community to help you achieve an SQA Employability Award Level 4.
The aim of the course is to help you to:
- recognise your skills and reflect on what you have already achieved
- recognise the value of these achievements in gaining employment
- develop the skills needed to find suitable employment
- develop the attitudes and behaviours necessary to sustain employment
How and when will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered in community settings across the Borders.
All classes will be run within school hours to fit around any childcare needs.
Will I need to study outwith class times?
There is an expectation that students will spend a minimum of 1.5 hours self-study each week.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, on successful completion of the unit you will get an SQA certificate.
Will I need to pay for the course?
No, the course is free
