Business rates published data on non domestic rates relief
A list of all limited companies and other organisations that are in receipt of rates relief is available. This list is updated quarterly.
Business rates data/information we cannot publish
We are often asked to provide information about business ratepayers. Under Data Protection Act regulations we are not permitted to release any information which can be used to identify an individual person as this would constitute a violation of their rights.
We have removed the names of people from some entries on the information files published in order to protect their individual rights as required by the Data Protection Act. For example, the names of people have been removed from records in cases where the business property listed:
- is that of a sole trader
- is a partnership
- includes people mentioned by name as contacts
In doing this we are complying with the requirements of the GDPR.
Business rates credit balances
All credit balances are reviewed on a weekly basis and have either been refunded or are being investigated.
