We are aiming to capitalise on the opportunities brought by the Borders Railway by maximising the potential of business and industrial land at Tweedbank. As part of this work we are producing Supplementary Guidance to guide the restructuring of the industrial estate and creating a Simplified Planning Zone Scheme to encourage investment.
Consultation on Draft Central Borders Business Park SG/ SPZ
We have now published our Draft SG/ SPZ and are consulting on this document from Wednesday 8 March 2017 until Wednesday 31 May 2017. The Draft SG/ SPZ are provided at the bottom of this page. Hard copies will also be made available to view at our Galashiels contact centre and Melrose and Galashiels libraries.
