Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre (SBRCC)

Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre (SBRCC) provides a free, inclusive, non-judgemental and confidential service for survivors who have experienced sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives. This can include rape, non-consensual image sharing, unwanted touching and kissing.

They offer emotional and practical support, information and advocacy for survivors of any age, race, ethnicity, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, ability or religion/cultural background. They provide a range a services, including:

Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCS)

The SARCS service is provided by NHS Scotland to support anyone in the days following a rape or sexual assault.

This can include arranging for you to have a forensic medical examination without making a report to the police or referring you to a local healthcare professional.
