- In reference to the response to request 2024-192, where Scottish Borders Council responded that they had received 794 claims for compensation regarding vehicle damage in relation to potholes and have settled 244 claims with 47 claims still open, Please can you advise who is turning down the insurance claims for compensation? If the claims are being turned down by Scottish Borders Council insurers, please can you advise who Scottish Borders Councils’ insurers are?
