- refuse collection

- community recycling centres
- registration of births, deaths and marriages
- phone call centre
- customer contact centres
We also assess entitlement for a range of benefits including:
- council tax benefit
- housing benefit
- free school meals and clothing grants
- charges for residential and home care
Assets and Infrastructure
This service delivers the following functions:
- management and maintenance of roads, bridges and lighting
- fleet management services
- management of our property assets
- building maintenance and cleaning
- catering
- school crossing patrols
- capital projects, architects and engineers
