Online services

Many of our services have online forms which allow you to access services at a time that is convenient to you. They are grouped into the following categories, which can be accessed using the links at the top of all our webpages:

Please make use of our online services wherever possible. If the service you are looking for isn’t available on the website, the below contact methods are also available.

Live chat

Live chat is a service we are currently trialling. It is available on various pages of our website for associated enquiries. If we can deal with your enquiry over live chat, a box will appear on the bottom right hand of your screen.

Live chat is available:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm
  • Friday: 9am - 4pm

Emergency out of hours

Please note: This service is for emergencies only. If your enquiry is not urgent, we won’t be able to resolve it out of hours. To make sure those in immediate need get help quickly, please contact us during normal office hours for routine issues. This way, your concern will be handled promptly and by the right team.

This service is for emergencies only, such as:

  • Immediate social work concerns (child or adult protection)
  • Homelessness or welfare emergencies
  • Situations of acute risk to health or safety

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

For non-emergency health advice, call NHS24 on 111.

If you need urgent help when our offices are closed, call 01896 752111.
