Local Employability Partnership Sector Based Training Grant Scheme 2026/27
The Scottish Borders Local Employability Partnership invites applications for the delivery of sector-based training and upskilling programmes for the 2026/27 period. Proposals should be designed to address the skills needs of employers within priority sectors, including healthcare, early years, hospitality, retail, information technology, and construction.
Proposed projects must demonstrate a clear focus on supporting unemployed and economically inactive residents of all ages. Interventions should aim to enhance employability by developing relevant skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as addressing barriers to labour market participation.
Only direct delivery costs will be considered as eligible grant expenditure.
Applications are limited to a maximum of £20,000.
All project work must be completed by 31 March 2027.
