To be able to explore their environment safely, surrounded by the facilities and support of their local neighborhood
To be able to entertain and host visitors either within their own home or in the on-site facilities
To be able to have hobbies, join clubs, celebrate events and engage in events and activities within and out-with the care village
To have a ‘home for life’ within the care village
Carers, Residents and Friends can expect:
To be able to visit whenever they choose
To be able to share family life with their loved ones
To be able to join in activities
To have a say in the running of the village
To have volunteering opportunities should they wish to be involved in the care village
To have a range on intergenerational activities available within the care village
Staff and Management can expect:
To be part of a holistic service, working together for the benefit of everyone
To be supported and valued
To have opportunities to develop their skills
To have access to relevant training, qualifications and career opportunities
To be part of the local community
The Local Community can expect:
To be welcomed into the care village
The ethos, ethics and purpose of the village to be shared with them and to be supported in engaging with the care village
To have a say in the running of the village
To have residents of the care village participating in life within the local community
There to be investment in the community wherever possible
