LEADER is a European Union and Scottish Government funded programme which supports innovative and sustainable local rural development projects and is available to:
- organisations
- businesses
- community groups
- the wider public.
The LEADER Local Action Group has overall responsibility for the delivery of the LEADER programme in the Scottish Borders.
Grant applications are being accepted for the Scottish Borders LEADER grant programme. More information on deadlines, approved projects can be found on the LEADER website or by contacting the LEADER Coordinator.
A list of projects funded by the previous LEADER Programme (called Leader+) can be accessed. Project summaries for each of the themes can be downloaded:
- Wood
- Water
- Land
- Culture.
