Borders towns cycle routes : Selkirk cycle trails

Town cycle routeSelkirk cycle trails
DescriptionThe routes use quiet roads and paths where possible, but the use of some A class roads is unavoidable. The A707 and A708 are not too busy and most cyclists should be quite happy using them. Whilst the shorter trails are relatively flat, the two longer trails are hilly but there is a reward in the form of many fine views and exhilarating downhill runs.
Starting pointThe starting point for the Selkirk cycling route is the car park at Selkirk Leisure Centre, located west of the town centre on the east bank of the Ettrick Water and accessed off Buccleuch Road.
