Area Partnerships, formerly known as Area Committees or Area Forums, are another way for local communities to have a voice in our decision making, via their Elected Members. The area to which the area partnership refers is known as its locality.
Area Partnerships bring together more organisations and interests over a wider area than Community Councils and Electoral Wards, which gives them a louder voice in matters affecting the whole locality.
