Sustainable Rate(s) as of 01/04/25 I would be grateful if you could respond to the following questions: Q1. What will your new Sustainable Rate be from the 01 April 2025, please specify rates for ?Eligible 2s? and ?3-5-year-olds?? If you have yet to set a new rate, when do you expect this decision to be made?
Q2. What percentage increase does this represent compared to your Sustainable Rate up to 31 March 2025? Clarification was sought and the applicant advised: I can confirm that Sustainable Rates, in Scotland in the context of Early Learning and Childcare(ELC) refers to the hourly rates paid to private and third sector providers for delivering funded ELC. - Response

1. Sustainable Rates for 2025/26: - Eligible 2-year-olds - 8.09; and - 3-5-year-olds - 7.69
2. Percentage increase since 31st March 2025: - Eligible 2-year-olds ? 3.75% (but equates to 3.72% due to rounding to decimal places); and - 3-5-year-olds ? 3.75% (but equates to 3.78% due to rounding to decimal places).
