CAMHS(Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) - Family support directory
When support is available
CAMHS are a team of specially trained workers whose job it is to improve the mental health of children and young people by helping them with the things that make them worried, upset or angry. CAMHS Teams provide a multi-disciplinary outpatient service for children and young people who have moderate and severe mental health problems.
Who qualifies
Children, young people and their parents from age 5 or sometimes younger up to the age of 18.
