SARCS(Sexual Assualt Response Co-ordination Service) - Family support directory

When support is available
The NHS Scotland sexual assault self-referral phone service can help to arrange care for you in the days following a rape or sexual assault. The service may be able to arrange for you to have a forensic medical examination (FME) at a SARCS without making a report to the police. The sexual assault self-referral phone service can refer you to a local healthcare professional at a sexual assault response co-ordination service (SARCS). After you phone, the healthcare professional at the SARCS will phone you back to discuss and arrange your care. If you were raped or sexually assaulted over 7 days ago, there are places that can provide the best and most appropriate care for you, Please see the weblink below for more information.
