We understand the collision occurred on the A7 Edinburgh to Carlisle Road, approximately 113 metres south of the entrance to Falahill Farm, in the Scottish Borders. We hereby make a request under the above legislation and would be grateful if you can provide us with copies of the following information:
1. Details of any flooding and/or issues with the presence of standing water at the accident locus between 29 October 2020 to 29 October 2023.
2. Details of any complaints received with regards to the accident locus from 29 October 2020 to 29 October 2023.
3. Details of any accidents at the locus between 29 October 2020 and 29 October 2023. - Response

BEAR Scotland Location Road Name: A7 from Galashiels to English Border A6091 (Entire length) Operator: Bear SE Carriageway: South Additional Location Notes: At Falahill Farm, heading towards Galashiels. Incident Information Issue Type: FLOODING Call Classification: EMERGENCY Issue Status: Open Satisfaction Callback: NO Report Method: Phone Notes: Flooding is travelling into (REDACTED) field. Three drains are flooding out onto road.
3. Details of any accidents at the locus between 29 October 2020 and 29 October 2023. Scottish Borders Council received the details of reported personal injury accidents from Police Scotland. Between the 29 October 2020 to 29 October 2023 there was one reported personal injury accident, details attached.
