- I would be grateful if you could please provide me with a complete and up-to-date list of all business (non-residential) property rates data for your local authority, including the following fields (where possible): - Ratepayer - Property Address - Post Code - Assessor Reference Number - Rateable Value - Ratepayer Liability Start Date - Assessment Description - Empty (Y/N) - Empty Start Date - Small Business Bonus Scheme (Y/N) - Small Business Bonus Scheme Start Date - Mandatory Relief (Y/N) - Discretionary Relief (Y/N) - Fresh Start Relief - New Property Relief - Improved Property Relief - Other Reliefs - Net Rates Payable I appreciate that properties where the ratepayer is an individual would be excluded from my request. In such cases, please provide the remaining information with the Ratepayer either blank or listed as 'individual'. Please provide this as machine-readable as either a CSV or Microsoft Excel file.

- The majority of your requested information is detailed on the attached spreadsheet however, please note that data relating to sole traders or private individuals has been redacted as this is personal information and therefore exempt under S38(1)(b) FOI(S)A 2002. For the following part of your request:- - Empty (Y/N) - Empty Start Date We do not specifically record if a property is occupied or empty within our Business Rates database therefore this information is not held. However, an assumption can be made where a property receives empty relief. All current reliefs, exemptions and 2024 General Transitional Relief is shown on the spreadsheet where this has not been redacted for the reasons noted above. - Small Business Bonus Scheme (Y/N) - Mandatory Relief (Y/N) - Discretionary Relief (Y/N) Our Business Rates database does show this information with a Y/N marker however, all current reliefs, exemptions and 2024 General Transitional Relief is shown with the full description on the spreadsheet where this has not been redacted for the reasons noted above. As the Y/N information noted above is not held in our database in this way we give notice under Section 17 (1) (b) of the Freedom of Information Act 2002.
