In Scotland, it would appear the driver behind the campaign was Police Scotland. SBC were asked to consider that the campaign be licensing/local partnership driven and that funding had been secured by Police Scotland for a poster campaign to be rolled out throughout the Lothians and Scottish Borders. On the basis that the council agreed, Police Scotland would use the poster with the SBC logo as a supporter of the campaign. In summary, Corporate management Team were requested to agree that Scottish Borders Council support the Ask for Angela campaign and endorse the use of the awareness raising poster.
