- Please can you tell me in the last five years, how many deeds of servitude have been issued by the council giving permission for the laying of water pipes and sewerage pipes over council-owned land. Can you also tell me what the cost of each deed of servitude was.

Scottish Borders Council have granted seven servitudes for water and/or drainage over council owned land in the last five years.
The servitude fee charged varied depending on each individual situation and is influenced by a number of factors.
The fees that have been charged for the seven servitudes are: 1 (for supply to social housing), 250, 1000, 4200, 5000, 5500, 12524.19.
